Acceptance of terms

By using QA Fixture Lab ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What the Site provides

The Site provides free, browser-based tools that generate synthetic (fake) data for software testing and quality-assurance purposes, including placeholder images, filler documents, mock structured data, algorithmically generated test card numbers, and filler text files. It also provides one live service, the temporary email inbox, described below.

Acceptable use of the temporary email inbox

Unlike the rest of the Site, the temporary email inbox tool is a real, working service: addresses it generates can receive genuine email from the public internet, which is processed and displayed by our backend and permanently deleted a short time after creation (currently 10 minutes, extendable). By using this tool you agree that you will not:

• Use a generated address to register for, or verify, any account or service on behalf of someone else, or at a scale intended to evade a service's abuse, verification, or rate-limiting controls;
• Use the tool to receive stolen credentials, illegally obtained material, or any content you do not have the legal right to receive;
• Use the tool for spam, phishing, harassment, or any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to access, guess, or enumerate another user's inbox address, or interfere with the service's operation.

Generated addresses have no password — anyone who has the address can read what's sent to it. Messages and the address are permanently and irreversibly deleted when the inbox expires; we do not guarantee delivery, retention, or availability of any message. We may filter, block, or remove content sent through this tool at our discretion, and may suspend access for any account, address, or network we believe is being used to violate these terms.

Acceptable use of the test card generator

The test card number tool is provided solely for testing the input validation, formatting, and error handling of your own software in a development or sandbox environment. You agree that you will not:

• Represent any number generated by this tool as a real, valid, or chargeable payment instrument;
• Attempt to use generated numbers to make a purchase, complete a transaction, or defraud any person, merchant, or financial institution;
• Use the Site to build, test, or operate tools intended to commit payment fraud or unauthorized account access ("carding").

Generated numbers are randomly produced and satisfy only a public checksum formula; they are not drawn from, matched against, or capable of accessing any real financial account. Any attempt to use them for an unauthorized transaction is a misuse of this tool and may be unlawful in your jurisdiction — that risk and responsibility rest entirely with the user.

No warranty

The Site and its tools are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated files are suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QA Fixture Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any file it generates.

Changes

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
